John C. Dobro, Jr. 1940 - 2014
Mr. John C. Dobro, Jr. age 74, of 329 Pittsfield Rd. Lenox, died Dec. 23, 2014 shortly after being admitted to the Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late John C. and Ingrid Hogland Dobro, Sr. Educated in the schools there, he continued his education by attending Northern Illinois University. A salesperson by profession, he retired from the Fire and Safety division of the ADT Security Systems company.
Mr. Dobro had moved recently to the area to be near to his daughter and her family.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam era, enlisting Feb. 27, 1963 and was discharged Oct. 26, 1968.
His wife, the former Beverly Anne Bruce, died in 2006.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle D. Sinclair and her husband, Timothy E. Sinclair of Salisbury, Ct., his two granddaughters, Catherine and Chelsea Sinclair of Salisbury and his brother, Ronald Dobro of W. Palm Beach, Fl.
Graveside services will be held in the family lot in Chicago later in the Spring.
