Ted Horwath 1940 - 2017
Theodore Andrew Horwath, 77, of Naperville, IL, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ted is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey (Becky) Horwath and Brian (Jennifer) Horwath, both of Naperville, IL. He is also survived by his wife Gail Ann Schomburg; Grandfather to Kevin, Ryan, Connor and Benton Horwath. Dear brother to Andrew Horwath. Ted was a loving father, grandfather, husband and a great friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Helen Horwath.
Ted was born April 4, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Fenger High School in 1958 and from Bradley University in 1962. He was employed in Industrial Relations for Commonwealth Edison for the entirety of his career. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and dining at his favorite restaurant “Your Neighbors”.
