Gerry was a great gal to know in highschool, always with a cheerful personality and beautiful smile.  My sincere sympathy to

her family and many friends.  Rest in peace our fellow classmate.

So sorry to hear Gerry is gone. She was always a fun person. I remember the Dalles had a fig tree in their backyard. Sophomore year, when we were all looking for leaves for biology, that poor little tree was practically denuded! I remember Gerry's mom accepted that pretty well. May Gerry rest in peace.

So sorru to hear she has passed away.  I remember the fun dances in her basement. She was a good friend.  And yes, the fig tree!

Gerry and I worked on the school newspaper together and became friends.  After graduation I lost contact with her.  She happened to call me for the first class reunion and we renewed our friendship.  Her son David and my 2 boys were close in age and played well together.  After her marriage to Frank we would get together in the evenings to play board games that we all enjoyed.  We both had garage sales in common and would go to them or have them in my  garage or basement.  Always a lot of fun.  After moving to California she would insist we stay with her whenever we returned to the area.  When she and Frank built their home in Beecher it was featured in the local newspaper and she would send me copies of the articles so I could follow along with the project.  I will miss Gerry very much.  My condolences to the family.
