George & I never crossed paths or had any classes in our four years at Fenger, therefore never got to know him until our last reunion gathering.   I spoke with George that evening and met his  sweet wife Mary.  When Carole started the "Do you remember" contests, it brought us all together with much fun.  I got to know George through the one regarding the Atomic Cake, and from that we became friends.

What a great guy with a terrific sense of humor, & could make you smile or laugh with one sentence.  He will be missed, but never forgotten, and my prayers go out to Mary and their children.  We have lost so many, that now are together as Angels.  God Bless you George, it was great to know you, even for a short time.

So sorry to hear about George's passing.  My deepest sympathy to Mary and their family.  George always made me smile and it was contagious to all that were anywhere near his presence. He will be sorely missed, but not forgotten. We'll all meet up again.

My sincere sympathies to George's wife Mary and his entire family. He always had funny comments I loved to read.  He was always bigger than life in school and on our high school website.

I remember George, ever the trickster. He sat near me in typing class. Knowing that it would stymie me because I'm a mechanical dunce, he would reach over and press a button on my typewriter which messed up the margin setting. I'll never forget that devilish grin.
