William F. Bogumil, Sr. 1940 - 2011
William F. Bogumil, Sr., age 71, of Rainbow City, Alabama died Saturday August 20, 2011. Mr. Bogumil was born on March 27, 1940, grew up in Illinois, and moved to Alabama around 1976. He had been a volunteer fireman in Alsip, Illinois and worked as a project engineer in the metal decorating industry. He was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggie Bogumil; daughters Joan Mathews and Christina Chaney; son William Bogumil, Jr.; Grandchildren Justin Moffett, Amory Moffett, and Jared Moffett; great grandson Kincaid Moffett; Brothers Tom Bogumil, Jack (Sue) Bogumil, and Bob (Judy) Bogumil; and several nieces and nephews, some of which noted him as their favorite uncle.
