Jim Chico Alfano was a very special friend. We first met in grade school (Gompers) in 1951 and then attended Fenger hs before joining the military in 1958. We both were health club enthusiasts and engaged in many other sports. Chico had an upbeat personality and a competitive spirit. And he will always be remembered with love and fondness.

Jim "Chico" was a great friend and the most Patriotic American I have ever known who loved serving his country and protecting his community. A hero among heros.
