FengerOpoly

Meet the 50's Teens, our classmates or playing tokens

FENGEROPOLY is an original game based heavily on the Parker Game of Monopoly. It was designed for the 50 Year Reunion of the June, 1958 graduating class of Chicago's Fenger High School.

To play the game you must first furnish two die as they are not included in the package. Players, represented by The 50's Teens, move around the high school, or gameboard, according to the roll of the dice.

Most landing spaces represent activities or events at Fenger, as illustrated to the right. A Teen can purchase a sponsorship for these activities or events and then collect an attendance fee for any Teen landing on his space.

Other landing spaces usually dictate a consequence. A player might be required to take an English or math test; to report to one of the discipline offices, Room 126 or 143; or move to another part of the gameboard. Sometimes the Teen will have to choose a Fenger Chance or a Fenger Community Chest card. The Teen will then be duty-bound to follow the instructions printed on the card, which could be good or bad as the cards below illustrate.

All the individual parts for FengerOpoly are written to a CD and can be printed out on your home computer. Complete playing instructions are also included on the disk. The game board is printed on 20" x 20" laminated paper. As mentioned previously, NO die are included; you will need two.

To purchase FengerOpoly send $15 for the game and $10 for shipping--The disk and the game board must be mailed separately.
